See Saw Tots aims to provide young children with a safe, caring environment in which they can develop their confidence
and independence. With a low key, informal free play
session : the children are given the opportunity to
join in the activities, home corner, story and song
times - parents, carers and volunteers are warmly
welcomed to join in the sessions. The children are enabled to settle in at their own pace with parent/carer welcomed and included. We do not aim to provide a formal nursery education at this early age, but rather a stepping-stone between home/toddler group and nursery classes. We view this age as a time for play and fun, the time free of pressure from curriculums and learning outcome. A child age 2 years with a parent or carer is £2 per morning A child age 2½ years to 3½ years may be left for £3.25 per morning or £6 for 2 mornings |
